Tours

Farm tours are for groups of students or civic groups, garden clubs, school groups, 4H etc.

We start our tours with a history of the farm, built in 1870 and then as we tour the barn, the explanation of our livestock and how they have a purpose on our farm. Then depending on the interest of the group, we go into depths our growing methods and the integration of the livestock, humans and vegetables /flowers.

Tours range from 1hour to a full day with a ½ day work session

Cost is $10.00 per person for a 1 hour tour

A base group rate might be applied if necessary.

We are happy to tailor your tour according to the needs of your group.

Farm Stays

After years of folks like you telling us we were living there dream life: we have decided to create farmstays. Families and couples are invited to come live our life for a weekend or a week. From June through Oct. stay in a walled platform tent or a tipi and eat farm-style meals with our family. Accommodations are sleeping bag style. Daily activities include barn chores with the animals, planting or harvesting in the gardens, helping to prepare meals. Contact us for more information on a Winterberry Farm farmstay. Costs range from: $225.00 weekend stay for couples $500.00 weekend stay for families up to 4 people

Garden Tours

Welcome to Winterberry Farm! Stroll through our fields and gardens at your leisure or with a farm guide. If you have a time in mind give us a call or take a chance and stop in! self guided tours are $5.00 per person and guided tours are $50.00 for families up to 5 and groups are $10.00 per person We have vegetables and flowers, herbs and livestock! We are a horse and oxen powered, Certified Organic, Maine family farm! 2015 the Winterberry Farm barn was accepted into the National Registry of Historical Places! Call us, or click here to email.

Kids Camp

Welcome kids to Winterberry Farms day camp! We are excited to be offering this great time of animal play and grooming time, natural walks on the farm, back to the land arts and crafts, these kids will be getting a taste of what my kids experience every day on Winterberry Farm, for 2 weeks, June 26th to June 30th and July 24th to July 28th each session is one week long and we can accommodate 10 kids for each session.
